Fall Bliss!

SSSSssssshhhhhhh! Can you hear it?! Fall is slowly moving into the Land of Enchantment! YYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! This Mommy Tree's absolute FAVORITE time of the year. Honestly the only time that I have no complaints about this state! NONE. It is absolutely stunning in the fall.
Yesterday we ( My mom, Jonathan, Declan and myself!) cruised up to Santa Fe for a fun filled day! It was the Mommy's Market in Santa Fe. For those of you who don't know, I love to rummage and love to find a great deal! Especially when it is for our little pumpkin. Besides they grow out of everything so so fast and I am constantly rotating toys so he is stimulating different parts of his baby brain. We found some great finds! After the MM we headed over to Whole Foods, off of Cerrillos road, because it is my absolute fave. We got a snack and some groceries and cruised on over to the Farmer's Market.
After the Farmer's Market we headed up towards the Santa Fe Ski Resort to breathe in deep and appreciate the beauty of the fall leaves! It was beautiful. We then finished our day by having a fantastic lunch out on the patio of Zia Diner.

Gosh I love Fall!

Little Pumpkin!

Had to get another visit to the Los Ranchos Farmers market before the end of the season! These things were always fun before, but now even more so with Declan! And of course our little ham is happy to toss out smiles to most people he meets and loves to people watch!

Happy 1st day of Fall!!!

Finally, it is officially the first day of fall! Now we can bring out the Halloween decorations and fall scented candles, use the crockpot (all the time) and maybe wear boots, jackets, long sleeves! Except for Jonathan, he styles his shorts and hiking boots regardless of weather or season.
Our previous Camp Director for Camp Enchantment the confidant, radiant, artist and dear friend Sandra was in town the past few days. We have had such a wonderful time visiting and catching up on the beauty of life.
Sandra gave our whole family an art class! Jonathan and I took our art class separately from Declan, two different forms of art. We had such a fabulous time, all of us!

7 Months!

7 MONTHS!!! WOOT WOOT!!! What a big boy! And seriously ADORABLE!!! I am not just biased because he is my kiddo and we created him! But I am a Pediatric nurse and I see lots of cute kids everyday and he is CUTE! Actually I have to say that all of my friends and family too, have extremely cute kids!
What are we doing at 7 months....UMM... the question is what aren't we doing???
Well we aren't walking yet... Jonathan walked at 8 months (per his mom) so...I am hoping that we aren't on that developmental track yet because I am not ready and neither is our house. Declan is officially crawling. He pulls himself up on everything! He also gets a good number of head bonks because he is so quick to move. So we are working on that...We are learning to pull stuff out of containers, can you tell from the mess in the photos?! Our house and his bedroom definitely don't normally look like that! Everything goes in his mouth, which means mommy vacuums the floor twice a day just to make sure there isn't anything on the floor that Declan can grab. We have already had one incident with a candy wrapper, although now we now that my calm demeanor in crisis situations is not just reserved for work!
Declan also likes to get under the coffee table and just sit under there ( I think he is going to love fort making!) He also crawled inside that fabric box in the photos and just sat there! He babbles and giggles a lot. He loves babies and baby dolls! He is now starting to sign back with some of the signs that we have been teaching him all along, which is really exciting!
Can you tell, our hearts are overflowing with love for our little guy!

Oh and a very HAPPY2nd BIRTHDAY to Miss Athena Hadley, all the way up in Missoula, MT

RAIN!!!! Another form of water that Declan ABSOLUTELY LOVES!!!! This is my time to say "look at those handsome boys of mine, and I took those photos!" Seems like Jonathan is always the one taking the photos. So I was so thankful that my skills came through to catch these great shots of Declan and his wonderful daddy!
