Bathtime Bliss...

EEEEEeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEeeeeeee! I am so so SOOOOOO far behind on posting. I know, you know it. Let's just say a prayer that sometime in the near future I can get my act together and make these posts happen a little more often. These photos are from MARCH 17th!!! Want to know how I know that...Declan's bath water is green! I am that mom where every holiday has a fun event! Actually his water is green from the Lord of Misrule bath bomb from Lush...That may or may not be an $8 bath that he is taking. I had to live vicariously through him because our bath tub is leaking through one of the jets. Even if you don't turn it on. UGH. It smelled heavenly and he LOVES special bath time nights! Calem LOVE LOVE LOVES his Puj tub from Lizzy, Seth and Mason. Both of them are water signs. Declan born in the year of the Water Dragon and Calem in the year of the Water Snake. So far both descriptions right. on. the. money.
Anyways..... I ramble. These photos are from March. It is May. I am done with most of my coursework for my Masters ***WOOT WOOT*** I have one more course and 196 clinical hours before graduation. FINALLY. There may be a light... Get ready to see more photos of these handfuls of cuteness!

Declan loves Calem's little mohawks after bath. He says it soooo cute and both of them HAVE to be wrapped up in "Beedos!" Also known as a burrito!

Outdoor Adventures

There is a good chance if you peek over our fence or our walking the irrigation ditches you will see us outside. There is also a good chance that Declan is not wearing any clothes. Potty training in our house has loosely meant "no clothes, potty outside." He totally gets the concept, wants to use the potty, but is not so cool about taking a break from anything fun to actually GO to the potty. He also loves to be Super Declan! Calem is our little trooper. Happy to be held, happy to be near his brother. He just wants to be where he is. He also loves his snuggle time when he doesn't have to share!

Check out that grass! Big steps from this time last year!!! On the horizon for this year in the yard 1) bringing the garden back, yep! 2) CHICKENS!!!

Mommy and Declan Date

Declan has been really great since we brought Calem home, really. Declan gets a lot of one on one time with Jonathan because he is usually the one to put him to bed and I usually put Calem to sleep. I knew Declan needed, wanted just some mommy time, and I needed some time with this guy too! We ventured to the park and made some new friends, went to the little kids bookstore (which has sadly closed its doors) and went to a fabulous place called Small Cakes  DELICIOUS cupcakes! We thoroughly enjoyed ours and even brought one home for daddy! Boo Boo Kitty got to join in on the fun and for those who haven't figured it out...that kitty goes everywhere with us.
Thanks to Grandma Catherine for watching Calem so we could have a grand adventure!
All the love in the world from this happy mommy!

Calem - 6 Months

AHHH! He is getting so big! No teeth as of yet...they are coming!!! He is a great sleep when he wants to be... On a good night he is sleeping about a six hour stretch at night, waking up to eat and then sleeping another 5 hours. Some nights I swear he wakes up just to make sure that someone will pick him up and hold him. It's quite sweet. Just somewhat exhausting, if it happens 3-4 times per night. He is sitting up by himself, attempting to  pull himself up, rolling like crazy. Loves Loves Loves his big brother and just wants to be where he is. Jonathan and I definitely look at each other most days and say "we feel like brand new parents." Because every.single.child. is SO different. So different. The comparisons are endless, yet I love that they look so similar, and are their own unique person.
These boys are so much fun and Declan insists on being in all of Calem's photos. Did I mention that Calem may be the happiest baby?! He is.
