Busy Busy Weekend!

The busy fall weekends started! Had to cram all of the activities in since there is such a small window that these fabulous events take place and for the best weather! We started out our weekend by making pizzas and enjoying family time together. Always the best!

Saturday we had to get down to the balloon fiesta. We had to go at least twice because it seems like every year about 50% of the events get cancelled due to weather, either wind or rain. We left our house by 5:30am to get down to the park...and the mass ascension was cancelled! We still went into the park, walked around. Ate some mini donuts and a breakfast burrito. Met up with my dad, Kelly, Ryan Gabriel, Benjamin and Christopher down at the park. Visited with them for a little bit before heading home.


We took a family nap for an hour and a half and then got ready for the Brew Fest to celebrate our friend Josh's birthday. We had a really great time!

We found Deyla at the Brew Fest! Deyla was one of my campers starting back in 2004!

 It was quite pricey $30 a ticket at the door, had we known ahead of time we would have bought our tickets online and saved 30%!

After Brew Fest we  had a lovely date night dinner of Dion's and Declan at his new favorite, spaghetti! After dinner we left Declan with my mom and headed to Lion King, which was showing at Popejoy, to celebrate our anniversary. It was FANTASTIC! Overall really fantastic weekend! And our little pumpkin was such a trooper even though he was cutting his first top tooth! We love you!
