TURKS AND CAICOS!!! It is in the British Virgin Islands so it wasn't like we crossed the Atlantic or the Pacific Oceans; however, it did require a 9+ hour travel day and 3 separate flights and Declan got his first stamp in his passport! YAY!!!
Jonathan had big plans to do some diving while we are here...HOWEVER, he ended up rupturing both of his ear drums on the flights down to TCI...BOO! Poor Jonathan was instructed by the doctor down here to only view the ocean from the top, meaning no diving, it also meant restrictions on equalizing his ears and when he could fly again. Not to mention that overall he just didn't feel all that great and his ears were really bothering him. Finally about mid week he started to feel more like himself and had his normal energy back! As for the healing of the ears he will be going to an Ear Nose and Throat specialist to see what he does next.
Why did we travel down to TCI, well my brother and Melissa got MARRIED!!!WOOT WOOT!!! So incredibly happy and excited for them on this new adventure they are taking. Their wedding was so beautiful and the photos do not do it justice, but it was breathtakingly beautiful. And so so much fun! I am going to do a separate post for their wedding so there are a few more photos and details about their big day.
As the World Ramblers traveling to another country with our family was a huge success. Declan did awesome on all of the flights and on the layovers in the airport. He is just so happy to socialize with everyone on the plane and content to watch Sesame Street. We were so excited to get his first stamp and to keep on adding. We are already dreaming big of where we are going to go next...
After the wedding Declan enjoying the island drinks!
On the first day we went kayaking and towed Melissa so she could snorkel as we paddled. She found a bunch of conch shells and a giant sand dollar!
Kaiti and Alex towed Ryan! Although to take a break Ryan jumped in the kayak!
Love my sister!
SIBLINGS!!!
Murphree sisters!
Snorkeling at Coral Gardens and we finally got to see a sea turtle!
Nothing more attractive than snorkel masks!
