Denver

We did it!!! I feel a great sense of accomplishment on taking our first road trip! The drive up there was easy and smooth, the ride back...not so much. It isn't a good story nor does it make anybody feel good so we will just skip that part. But on the way up we left a 3:45am!!! Yikes! However,  Calem woke up at 3:00am and we thought no way are we going to bed if our alarms are going to go off in 1.5 hours we will just go for it. The boys did great they slept the first half, we had a delicious breakfast in Pueblo, CO. Made it to Denver by noon!
We got in so much quality time with Leanne, Pat and Michelle, Arielle and John, and Mr and Mrs T, and family time that was spent not worrying about laundry, school, house projects etc. Declan is now in love with mermaids after seeing the mermaid show at the Aquarium, we now know we can all sleep in the same room, the boys can nap together and that they are quite tolerant of disruptions in their schedules as long as they are well rested and fed...I guess we all are!

Thankful for the adventures of car travel!
