Baby Maple is the size of a cantoloupe! This morning we had our big halfway baby date (20 week ultrasound). Baby is 14 oz. Measuring in the 56th percentile! Also measuring at 21 weeks and 3 days, but gestationally baby is 20 weeks and 4 days. I am feeling great! Only real symptom I have been having is some leg cramps, but thank goodness no heartburn or swelling...yet (knock on wood). Sad part about today my midwife is leaving UNM...I am seriously disappointed. Now starts the hunt for the new one. I could stay at UNM and use another one of the UNM midwives, but we think that God may have had a plan. This weekend Jonathan was able to spend a lot of time talking to a good friend, who also happens to be a midwife. And she suggested a birthing center here in Albuquerque, as well as other options. We were already on the fence about delivering at UNMH (also where I work!). So we are going to pursue other options... switching insurance carriers and tonight we are going to the brithing center for a tour!

"The Bump" after our 20 week baby date! Just think next week we can actually call this baby by its sex, instead of "the bump!"
Our friends Mr and Mrs Nicholas Tarasenko!!! So darn happy for them! They are now off to celebrate the beginning of their marriage in Greece and Italy!
