11 Weeks!

Our handsome 11 week old Declan! Always adorable. He really is a good baby. We have nothing to compare it to, but he is very easy going. He cries when he is hungry, hot or now when he is wet or dirty. We are hoping with the cloth diapering and the fact that he is only happy when he is dry that maybe he will get out of diapers sooner than later. He has also waited to do his business until daddy holds him over the toilet. Hard to believe but very true. He is an extremely smart baby!
He is very smiley. He loves to lay on his back and talk to whoever will listen. He is discovering his voice and making new sounds every day.
He laughed! Such a joyous noise! While dancing with his daddy (daddy was singing Adele)!
He has discovered his tongue and will occasionally smile with his tongue between his lips. He also loves sounds that I make with my tongue, whether it is clicks or raspberries.
He has found his hands. He grasps them together on his chest when he is really focused on something. He also has started sucking and munching on his hands, even when he is not hungry...which is followed by drool.
He is a healthy, strong boy. Weighing in at 15lbs (very good for mommy's arms and obliques!) He likes to grasp your hands and help pull himself up into a sitting position and to "stand." He needs to know what is going on around him!
He sleeps for about six solid hours when he first goes to bed, wakes up to eat, sleeps for another three, eats again, than sleeps again! When he wakes up he is a super happy boy!
