Day 24 - Thankful for 9 steps...

It is official the little sapling is taking steps! We went from two steps for the last few days to nine steps today! Absolutely adorable. He is so steady and secure on his feet, it is quite amazing. Beyond cute when he looks at you after his steps and smiles so big. He is so proud of himself! And we are so proud of him!
Thankful for FaceTime (again), but this time Declan got to chat with my Aunt Carol, my moms sister! Wish we would have taken some screen shots of the interaction! She is healing and recovering well from her surgery. Continued prayers and healthy vibes going her way!
Thankful to my mom for offering babysitting services this evening so Jonathan and I can have a date out. Seems that our average is about once a month that we get to go out just us. We LOVE our family time. Time together as a couple makes us happier people and better parents to Declan! Tonight we are going to see Life of Pi! So excited about it! Jonathan and I both read this book while we were in Asia...I think. We would have to go back to the World Ramblers blog to double check when we read it. However, it is not very often that we have a book that we both have read.
