Day 23 - Thankful for Morning Romps and Declan's first steps!

Day 2 of our 4 day weekend together...getting ready for the Holidays!!  I am thankful for Tara and for Linda.  I needed to get a few things done at the house: parts for my 4runner, pellet stove, sweep chimney, baby proof outlets and do the trash and recycle. They took Declan for the day so I could get those things done.  I, of course missed them so so much!  It's always hard to spend time on 'house stuff' instead of time with family.  I am so thankful that we are heading into the holidays where we will get to spend even MORE time together!

I didn't miss everything - in fact I have a real treat for you.  Many of you know our sweet baby boy is fun and active in the afternoons and evenings.  Maybe you've been wondering about the mornings?  Well, wonder no more - here is what a morning looks like for The Maple's when we are all together!

I am thankful and love them both for soooo many reasons.  Where do I even start!?  How about: sexy Mommy in sweats and giggling baby on morning *run run pant pant* laps around the 1st floor!

 SO.MUCH.FUN!!  So thankful for this part of my life.  They both melt my heart daily!

 Declan has begun taking steps!  It is so fun to watch him be daring and fearless as he just goes for it!

 He loves walking from one of us to a.) another one of us or b.) some object.

 After spending all day with Tara, they still have energy to love on each other and play before bedtime.

 Just steps you say?  Nope - He's JUMPING too!

 She was just holding him when all of a sudden he went fish from belly to head. So funny!  We were all laughing so hard, even Declan!
